How can I make a video game walkthrought and commentary to then upload to youtube?

I want to to make a narrated walkthrough of Fire Emblem 9 for the Game Cube (yes, Im aware its a lame console and its an old game but I really want to do this becase I really liked that game, also the information could help me to make other commentaries). But I have no idea how. Could you tell me what I need and what would be the best way to do it?How can I make a video game walkthrought and commentary to then upload to youtube?Great Game choice. I was thinking of doing Fire Emblem for the GBA, and SNES.

Now the first answer said to use a camcorder. This does work, but it is ineffective. The quality and professionalism of the video is not there.

This is a capture device that captures the basic components, S-Video, and DV. It just goes in yourv USB. It also comes with Pinnacle Studio 14, a powerful video editing software.

The problem with finding a good way to record, the USB Capture Devices are cheap. The programs are expensive, you might as well buy the bundle, it is cheaper.

Now for recording your voice, you'll need a mike. I found a great one for $5 at a garage sale over the summer, records great. If you have any kind of headset, they should work fine. Now for the program, all you need to do is download Audacity.

Now to record with commentary. All you need to do is capture the video on Pinnacle, and your voice on Audacity.
