If you really REALLY want to go, I'd recommend buying the ticket online before you get here- there are some sites that will let you pay online with a credit card. If you go to buy tickets the day of the match it's possible that you will wait in line for a long time and not end up with tickets, and you might be sitting in a place where you don't feel safe. Many tourists are advised to go to games in large, organized groups that provide bilingual guides, transportation to and from the stadium and more safety for people that normally wouldn't know what do to otherwise.
So, I'd recommend doing one of these trips, and ordering tickets soon (especially for a big game like River v Arsenal, who knows when they will sell out).
