Pretty simple. I want to play Fallout 3 on the PC but I'm not sure of "starting a new game" will kill my boyfriends progress and replace it with mine. I want him to be able to load his game later when I'm done. Will it be OK if I start a new game?Can I start a new game in Fallout 3 for the PC without deleting my BFs?Not unless you move his saves into a new folder. The commonly reused quicksave.fos, autosave.fos and the two .bak backup saves will be overwritten while playing a new game and I think most people rely on their quicksave as their main save.
You might as well create a folder for yourself too so if he wants to play he can move your saves into your folder before moving his back.
