I am always confused about the game genre.How can i distinguish between action,strategy,RPG and stimulation genres.I think world of Warcraft was a strategy game but in net i found that it is an RPG game.Is there any kind of tips to know about the genre of a particular game.How can i identify a pc game genre?genres are changing and growing all the time, and nowadays there's a lot of mingling between the different genres.
Most core-rpg players think of games like Baldur's Gate and Knights of the old republic as true RPG games.
Then you have action-rpgs like Diablo and the suchlike.
The site you were looking at probably just called WOW a strategy game because it has strategy elements.
