How can I trade a pokemon from my platinum game to my heartgold?

I have access only to one DS. I've tried gts but it didn't work because the game and ds are linked. Plus, someone took the pokemon i offered. I thought nobody would be offering a lvl 17 zubat, but they were, and they got my jolteon -.-" But i was wondering, are there any other ways i can trade between my two games?How can I trade a pokemon from my platinum game to my heartgold?First possibility: ask a friend with a ds to transfer the pokemon between the 2 ds' and trade the pokemon you want to transfer with a weak one to release later like a rattata.

Second possibilty: get someones pin and trade with gts if he can be trusted he will trade the pokemon back to your heartgold game.

You could use the GTS, but the chances you would find your pokemon would be hard.

I think I agree with one of the other answerers. You need another DS (be it the original DS, the DS lite, the DSi, DSi XL, or the upcoming 3DS). Each system has a wireless infra-red port.
