How do you start a separate game resident evil 5?

My brother wants to play this game but i don't see an option for him to start his own game. It only let's you chapter select back to the beginning but when he tried this he had my weapons and money. It's so annoying. I had this same problem with Heavenly Sword. Why are they making games like this?How do you start a separate game resident evil 5?In order to start a new game, you'll need to do a Chapter Select. All your weapons, health, and unlockables TRANSFER over to the other game. So it'll be like you're going back playing the levels yourself. For example, you'll have the shotgun etc. already in the beginning. Once you complete a chapter, it will automatically save and you can let him play. If you stop playing at a checkpoint however, when your return, it will bring you back to the beginning of the chapter, not the checkpoint. I learned that the hard way. So, use your discretion when you let him play, you won't want him to waste all your ammo or bring your health down really low and waste herbs or whatnot. I don't know why they're doing that now, but that seems to be the way. Another thing driving me nuts is the splitscreen doesn't use the full screen. What the heck!? It's so small!
