How to get a job in video game devlopment?

I devlop my own video games as hobby, i've been doing it for about 2 years now. I've only Completed one game completely on my own (With the exception of Coding, although now i am knowledgeable in the Ruby coding language and am scripting myself). I like doing this as a hobby but it is vital that i get a job and the video gaming industry would be the industry of choice i am completely dedicated.Any Idea on how i can go about getting a job in the video game industry?How to get a job in video game devlopment?just send your works to some company in order to show your talents.
