Atrix entertainment games trust me. Dragon Fable, mechquest, adventure quest, and adventure quest worlds(way different form adventure quest). Adventure quest is the oldest so it has alot of stuff while not as pretty or smooth as the others. Adventure quest worlds is the newest and its a mmo rpg (the others are just rpgs). The best part none of these are text base. Try them out and I bet you'll like them.
I have been playing a game for 6 years that may look like crap, but the gameplay is top notch. You do have to download it, it is only a couple of mb's though as it is a text based game.



Heres a description given by one of the game admin:



"Revelation: Lands of Kaldana is a non-standard MUD because it cannot

be played via telnet. Instead Revelation has its own client

which can be downloaded from the website. The client offers

a wide range of features which extend the game beyond that of

text-only. This includes a World Map, and customisable Inventory,

Button and Spell Icon pictures. Please note that the client

is only available to Windows.



The game itself is not hard to play and easy to enjoy. It is set

in the fantasy world of Kaldana and players can explore and fight

their way through many areas across three different continents

from the starting town of Myronmet. The playerbase while not

extensive is very close knit and sociable. This can make

starting out a bit easier as all you need to do is ask

any questions you have in Broadcast (the open chat channel).

There are many quests which can be completed and vary

depending on your chosen class as you level up through the

game to a very open and extensive range of endgame group-based

encounters or raids."
