Try Off Vine.Anyone know of any moderately prices elegant restaurants in hollywood CA that isnt too quiet?
Mozza Pizza on Highland and Melrose. The food is incredible and the vibe is perfect. I love it so much I go every week!
You do know that elegant and inexpensive do not go together.

Drive yourself and pay more for the food.

You need to call for reservations TODAY at a high end restaurant.Anyone know of any moderately prices elegant restaurants in hollywood CA that isnt too quiet?
If you're hiring a driver, you want to take her to Yamashiro's in Hollywood...it's gated, on the hill, in a secluded area, nice garden and the perfect view http://www.yamashirorestaurant.com/tour/鈥?/a>
Just outside of Hollywood area..in Burbank, is a great restaurant that I adore called Chadaka Thai... It's small and cozy...but elegant and can get crowded too. pricing is moderate.
El Cholo is a great restaurant that is pretty and lively. It is Mexican food and so popular! Try the dessert taco. Pretty and yummy. Then there is the Spaghetti Factory on Hollywood Blvd. Great food (try the Mizithra), not too pricey but really nice inside. You can afford it along with the driver. The drinks are a little higher but not out of reach.

I beg to differ on the assumption that elegance and inexpensive do not go together. Elegance is perceived. Some of the best local, soul food restaurants have such an air of elegance with their service that there are sometimes waiting periods in order to be seated. There is one where if you phone ahead, your dinner will be waiting and your place will be set at the table when you arrive. That is elegant service....
The Falcon is fun. It's prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and it draws a very hip crowd.
First off...if I were you, I would go to opentable.com and find out which restaurants in the Hollywood area have tables available at the time you need, then you can narrow it down from there. They have descriptions of price, pictures of the establishment, links to menus...etc.

For me:

Social Hollywood

Falcon%26lt;---great food, but when you call request a booth. The tables are located inside and out, but all the booths are in the sexier part of the restaurant

Cinespace has good food and on Fridays they show a movie in the restaurant in which all seats (booths)face the screen ( I recommend the filet or the pork chop...not the bread pudding)

Memphis serves southern food, but it's located in an old victorian house and has a really nice atmosphere

Yamashiro's is expensive sushi, but on top of a hill in Hollywood has the best view, you have to dress nicely or they'll seat you in the patio area with no view.
