Which country deserves the 2016 Olympics out of the list?

Asia: Tokyo, Japan.

Europe: Madrid, Spain; Prague, Czech Republic; Istambul, Turkey; Rome, Italy.

North America: Chicago, USA; Canada

Latin America: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Monterrey, M茅xico, La Habana, Cuba; Buenos Aires, Argentina

Oceania: Australia; New Zeland

Africa:Nairobi, Kenya; Cape Town, South Africa.

I personally think Europe, Asia, and North America shouldn't be host because Europe is already hosting the 2012 and 2014 Olympics, Asia is hosting the 2008 Olympics, the USA has already been a lot of times host and Canada is already host of the 2010 Olympics.

It is unfair not to let Latin American nor African countries to host because this 2 regions combined have only hosted 1 Olympic Game (Mexico City, 1968)

I know Africa may not have enough money to organize the Olympics but at least they (The IOC) should them.Which country deserves the 2016 Olympics out of the list?
I would love to see it to come to Chicago...but the toughest competion will be Rio...because as far as i know they have yet to hold the Olympics in South America.. Africa has an outside shot , The only place that might be able to have it would be South Africa..i think the final will come down to Chicago %26amp; Rio Mexico City is considered North America for Olympics because the dividing point is the Canal..Europe wont get it because of 2012 %26amp; 2014
your reasons are just. I hope one of the south american or african countries win. Just like with the 2010 world cup (South Africa). as for you list: i like Buenos Aires. It would be fun to see a south american country host.Which country deserves the 2016 Olympics out of the list?
chicago
Africa?...hm....may be South Africa...so but not Cuba...)))or another country of latin-america world....i hope for Australia....Which country deserves the 2016 Olympics out of the list?
I totally agree with you. Basically the most deserving would be either Latin America - probably either Rio de Janerio and La Habana would be awesome.

Africa I would love either Nairobi or Kenya.

Out of those Rio probably has it but I must admit though I am Latina and Would love a latin America country to have it I still prefer ( hands down ) Chicago. I'm from chicago and everyone in the city really wants to see the olympics come here.

sigh so hard! :)
I think they will give it to Cape Town because they want to show that its an even playing field. I am involved in disabled sports as a coach and most of those big events have been in Rio, Brazil so look for Rio to be a dark horse they have a lot of funding due to lotteries and such.
I'd have to go with the Windy City great for North America O I'm a little late but Happy 4th
agreed... my bias choice would be Prague... but to be fair, I think Rio or Buenos Aires should get it...
I know Australia have already had it in 2000 and New Zealand is too small to adequately cope with holding such a mayor event.

I would either prefer it to be held in a Central or South American country, or an African country or somewhere where has never been held before.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Monterrey, M茅xico

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Nairobi, Kenya

Cape Town, South Africa

Prague, Czech Republic

Istambul, Turkey

Tokyo, Japan

These countries are big enough and have the economy and infra structure to handle an event as big as the Summer Olympics. I am sure they will do a fine job staging one of the greatest sporting events in the world.
i think that seoul south korea shoul host another olypmpics since they were so unfairly beaten out two times in a row for the winter olympic bid but i think the only problem with a latin america countey hosting is the fact that what will be the poit since one of the goals of bringing the olypmpics to i guess upgrade sports in that countrey and after mexico city hosted most of the arenas built and used are hardly being used and are a waste of space so because of that latin america might be hurt and since south africa is hosting the world cup they might skip africa and ustralia hosted 2000 and america, l.a. alone hosted the summer olympics like 2 times so i choose seoul even though its not on the list but from the list i choose madrid spain.
If Cuba wins, somehow, I predict that the US won't participate in them because of the bad blood. Kenya would be too risky for a bid because it is voted by the UN one of the most insecure cities in the world. I agree that the games shouldn't be held in Europe/Asia because they are being hosted until 2014, as of now, besides the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Having the games in Chicago would be awesome for the US because they already host a number of sports and have a wide mass transportation system. Brazil wants to hold the World Cup in 2014, and it looks like it will go to Brazil, so I think that too much pressure would be on the city for those two big events held within two years of each other. Dubai is also in the bid for the 2016 Olympics. The bad part about Dubai is that the games would need to be in Spring or Fall because of the extreme temperatures during the Summer. Dubai has one summer olympic medal to their name, so its not like they are a leading country in sporting events. South Africa would be nice to host the Olympics, but they are hosting the 2010 World Cup and I think that South Africa's plans to hold the Olympics are up in the air, although they want to hold them. I don't think that the Olympics will be held in Latin America due to the economy of the countries. By 2016 their economy may be good, but the choice for the Olympics is in 2009. It will be interesting to see who wins the bid for the 2016 Olympics.
I think they should be held either at Rio de Janerio or Cape Town......they are far from the regular places where the olympics are held.
EGYPT

they built a very large stadium there,i saw it when i was visiting egypt
