Jim Thome hit his 500th HR of his career. That's awesome! And to make it better, it was in WALK-OFF FASHION! Not many times do you get to see a walk-off homer for #500. Mark Buehrle's was close behind but I would take that over Mark's no-no b/c it was an awesome career mark!

06/29 Cubs vs. Brewers. Ramirez hits 2-run shot off Cordero to win it. Brewers scored 5 runs in the 1st off Hill. Cubs bullpen shuts down Brew crew the rest of the game.



Honorable mention: 07/06 Sox vs. Twins. Sox lose doubleheader, 20-14 and 12-0. Garland gives up 12 runs in 3.1 innings.
