If you lost your game card, will the same pokewalker work with a new gamecard?

I had already used the pokewalker with my first HeartGold card, but my dog ate that game card. I still have this pokewalker, and it has a Murkrow in it. If I buy a new game card, will I be able to tranfer the Murkrow over to the new game card? And if I can't do that I heard I could reset the pokewalker and use it on the new card. Is this true, and if so how do you reset the pokewalker?

Yes you can reset the pokewalker and use it again but if you get another pokewalker just keep in mind that you can only use one pokewalker at a time. to reset your pokewalker go to the send to pokewalker menu, and where it says save, then go for a stroll, you hold L+X and press DOWN and follow the instructions.If you lost your game card, will the same pokewalker work with a new gamecard?Yes you can, with the new game card and all you have to do is hold "down","x" and "l" at the pokewalker connection screen which will reset the settings. All you have to do then is sync the pokewalker with the gamecard as usual
