What should be considered during a game when voting for an all-star game mvp?

Should the player that hit last to drive home a player during a game that is in a tie be the mvp of the game? What should be considered during a game when voting for an all-star game mvp?Nope - what if a different player hit a grand slam to tie the game earlier that inning. What if a pitcher pitched the last 2 innings without giving up any runs or hits to allow his team to stay close?

There shouldn't even be an MVP award for a game that is an exhibition in which most of the players won't get more then 1 or 2 at-bats, where they may only play a couple of innings on defense, and where a pitcher very rarely throws more then 1 inning. It's just plain silly. What should be considered during a game when voting for an all-star game mvp?Not necessarily. Could be a pitcher, could be a guy who had two hits earlier, could be a guy who made a great play in the field. To be MVP, you have to have done more than just one good thing.
